Melissa works Tuesday – Thursday at the Ski & Sun shop in Davistown. She recently gave Jim Dunphy who owns Jim’s Music Hall, her recipe for a vegetarian sloppy Joe. He said he tweaked it a little & she has been hoping to trade workdays with Mitch ,the infamous snow-skier dude, so that she could stop by and try one. Mitch hasn’t traded yet, he says it’s a major drag with his yoga schedule.

Mondays & Fridays she works at Pearl’s Pastry Show, which just had a camera crew filming their shop for the show “Travel & Dine”, particularly for Pearl’s “Everything Cupcake”. Their town was buzzing over this.

Melissa experiments in her own kitchen with a few of her pastry ideas and has also learned some tricks from Pearl. Melissa’s dream is to have her own sweets recognized one day.

She’s also saving money for a pastry class in France & to see a certain guy, Aldolphe. Melissa met him when she was working at the “Bear Inn” at Glacier Park last summer.

Oo La La… his squinty eyes & his one dimple never seem to leave her thoughts.
